Resonance Golf Ecology Trophy 2025
The Resonance Golf Ecology Trophy is much more than just a competition — it represents a true moment of connection between a passion for golf and a respect for nature.
To visually reflect this commitment, the event’s dress code embraced the colors green and white, symbolic of ecology.
The prize ceremony honored organic and locally sourced products, carefully selected through partnerships with dedicated local producers.
Honoring the Work of Our Greenkeeping Teams
This edition of the Resonance Golf Ecology Trophy was held in partnership with the traditional Greenkeepers’ Cup, an emblematic competition that shines a spotlight on the passionate work of our course maintenance teams.
The prize ceremony provided an opportunity to recognize their daily commitment and the exceptional quality of our courses.
Ludovic Hettinger, Greenkeeper, addressed the participants to raise awareness about the importance of preserving biodiversity on our golf courses and the need to reduce the use of phytosanitary products.
In a spirit of sharing and openness, the prize ceremony took place in the greenkeepers’ maintenance shed — a symbolic location that allowed players to discover the machinery used to maintain the course, with clear and informative explanations.
Finally, a precision contest was organized on hole 17, with greenkeepers present on site, encouraging exchanges between golfers and those who work daily to maintain the beauty of the course.
A Moment for Beekeeping
Marc Degabriel, a local beekeeper, was also present at the prize ceremony, accompanied by an educational hive.
He introduced participants to the inner workings of the beehives installed on the Dunes course, offering a detailed explanation of the essential role bees play in the ecosystem.
Before the prize-giving, players were invited to experience the gentle aromas of honey wafting from the hive, a sensory touch that enriched this moment of environmental awareness and appreciation for biodiversity.
Entry Fees Donated to Support the Environment and Course Maintenance Teams
A portion of the entry fees was donated to ffgreen to support concrete actions aimed at promoting a more environmentally respectful approach to golf.
The remaining funds, managed by the golf club’s sports association, were allocated to our greenkeepers in recognition of their essential contribution to the quality of the course.
